The Constant Force generates a constant force between its two flanges. The direction of a positive force is indicated by the arrow.

Note

A force source may not be left unconnected or connected in series with a spring or any other force source.

Parameters

Second flange: Controls whether the second flange is accessible or connected to the translational reference frame.
Force: The magnitude of the force, in newtons \((\mathrm{N})\). The default value is 1.

Probe Signals

Force: The generated force, in newtons \((\mathrm{N})\).
Speed: The speed of the flange that the arrow points to with respect to the other flange, in \(\left( \frac{\mathrm{m}}{\mathrm{s}} \right)\).
