Dead Zone

Purpose

Output zero while input signal is within dead zone limits

Description

The Dead Zone block outputs zero while the input is within the limits of the dead zone. When the input signal is outside of the dead zone limits, the output signal equals the input signal minus the nearest dead zone limit.

Parameters

Lower dead zone limit: The lower limit of the dead zone.
Upper dead zone limit: The upper limit of the dead zone.

Input: The block input signal.
Output: The block output signal.
