Description

The Position Sensor measures the relative position of the flange marked with a dot with respect to the other flange. If the other flange is connected to the reference frame, the absolute position is measured.

Note

Speed and position sensors are ideally compliant. Hence, if multiple speed or position sensors are connected in series, the speed or position measured by an individual sensor is undefined. This produces a run-time error.

Parameters

Second flange: Controls whether the second flange is accessible or connected to the translational reference frame.
Initial position: The position at simulation start.
