Thyristor Rectifier/Inverter

Purpose

3-phase thyristor rectifier/inverter

Library

Electrical / Converters

Description

../../_images/thyrect.svg

Implements a three-phase rectifier or inverter based on the Thyristor model. The gate input is a vector of six signals ordered according to the natural sequence of commutation. This sequence corresponds to the numbering of the thyristors in the electrical circuits. The rectifier is shown on the left side of Fig. 248, the inverter on the right.

Parameters

For a description of the parameters see the documentation of the Thyristor.

Probe Signals

The thyristor converters provide six probe signals, each a vector containing the appropriate quantities of the six individual thyristors: voltage, current, conduction loss and switching loss. The vector elements are ordered according to the natural sequence of commutation.
