The Translational Speed Sensor measures the linear speed of the flange marked with a dot with respect to the other flange.

Note

Speed and position sensors are ideally compliant. Hence, if multiple speed or position sensors are connected in series, the speed or position measured by an individual sensor is undefined. This produces a run-time error.

Parameters

Second flange: Controls whether the second flange is accessible or connected to the translational reference frame.

Probe Signals

Speed: The measured speed, in \((\frac{\mathrm{m}}{\mathrm{s}})\).
