Description
The Triangular Wave Generator produces a signal that periodically changes between a minimum and a maximum value and vice versa in a linear way.
Parameters
- Minimum signal value
The minimum value of the signal.
- Maximum signal value
The maximum value of the signal.
- Frequency
The frequency of the signal in hertz \((\mathrm{Hz})\).
- Duty cycle
The ratio of the rising edge to the period length. The value must be in the range \([0, 1]\). A value of
1produces a sawtooth waveform with a perpendicular falling edge. A value of0produces a reverse sawtooth waveform with a perpendicular rising edge. A value of0.5produces a symmetrical triangular wave.- Phase delay
The phase delay of the triangular wave in seconds \((\mathrm{s})\). If the phase is set to \(0\), the waveform begins at the rising edge.
