(K) Mutual Inductor Coupling Statement
Kname L1name L2name <L3name <...>> k
The mutual inductor coupling models magnetic coupling between two or more inductors.
Knameis the unique identifier for the coupling.L1name,L2name, etc. are the names of the inductors to be coupled.kis the coupling coefficient, where \(0 \leq k \leq 1\).\(k = 0\) means no coupling (inductors are independent)
\(k = 1\) means perfect coupling (ideal transformer)
typical values \(0.95\) to \(0.99\)
The mutual inductance \(M\) between inductors is calculated as:
\[M = k \sqrt{L_1 \cdot L_2}\]
For coupling more than two inductors, the same coupling coefficient \(k\) applies to all pairs.
