Web-Based Simulation Designer

Web-Based Simulation (WBS) allows a visitor of a web page to run PLECS simulations interactively in a web browser. A PLECS model together with a Web-Based Simulation design define how a web page visitor can interact with the WBS. The Web-Based Simulation Designer can be used to create WBS designs interactively. Please see the accompanying documentation within the WBS Designer.

To launch the WBS Designer from PLECS, select Web-Based Simulation Designer from the Window menu. The WBS Designer will be automatically downloaded before first use [1].

To uninstall the WBS Designer, refer to your operating system’s instructions in the table below. To reinstall the WBS Designer, start by uninstalling it. Then, launch the WBS Designer from PLECS to install it again.

AppImage support is required for Linux operating systems.
