Analog In
Purpose
Output the measured voltage at an analog input channel.
Description
The output signal is scalable and can be used with an offset. The output signal is calculated as input*Scale+Offset.
Parameters
General
- Analog input channel(s)
Index of the analog input channel. For vectorized input signals a vector of input channel indices must be specified.
- Scale
A scale factor for the input signal.
- Offset
An offset for the scaled input signal.
Trigger
- Trigger source
If “Global setting” is selected, the Analog In measurements happen simultanously, once per simulation step, as configured in the Analog input sampling of the Coder Options Dialog (see section General). Otherwise, continuous ADC sampling is activated and Analog In measurements can get triggered individually. When “Specify delay within simulation step” is selected, the “Trigger delay(s)” field allows to setup individual software triggers. When “Use PWM trigger port” is selected, a trigger block input is enabled, that is intended to get connected to an ADC trigger output of a PWM Out block. And the “Initial ADC voltage(s)” field allows to setup individual values.
- Trigger delay(s)
Trigger delay for the measurement in seconds. Only available when Trigger source is configured as “Specify delay within simulation step”. The parameter can be either a scalar or a vector with the same width as the number of input channels.
- Initial ADC voltage(s)
Initial ADC voltage in Volts. Only available when Trigger source is configured as “Use PWM trigger port”. Useful when the PWM block at startup is in safe state because of a Powerstage Protection Unit. The parameter can be either a scalar or a vector with the same width as the number of input channels.
